CHOISY TRIANGLE
Choisy Triangle is a series I photographed in the XIII arrondissement of Paris, a district transformed in the 1960s and 70s by modernist architecture. Towers, concrete blocks, and large housing projects redefined the landscape, giving this part of Paris a new identity. Over time, the area became home to one of the largest Asian communities in Europe. The Choisy Triangle, between Avenue de Choisy, Avenue d’Ivry, and Boulevard Masséna, grew into a vibrant cultural center, alive with restaurants, markets, and daily life. With this series, I wanted to capture the geometry of the architecture, the atmosphere of the streets, and the layers of history that coexist here. For me, the Choisy Triangle is both monumental and intimate, a place where Paris reveals its diversity and its constant transformation.
